Microwave Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped corn
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place popped corn in a lightly greased 4-quart casserole. Place butter in a 1 1/2-quart dish.
    Microwave on High for 1 minute or until melted.
    Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cover.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Remove mixture from oven.
    Stir in soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Stir until coated.
    Cook mixture on High 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
    Spread on waxed paper until cool.
