Meat Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 lb. ground round
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 firm tomatoes, chopped
    12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
    6 oz. drained sliced mushrooms
    6 large green peppers (square bottoms)
Preparation
    Brown sausage and ground round in a large pan with the onions, too.
    Drain.
    Cool.
    Return to pan.
    Cut tops out of green peppers.
    Parboil 5 minutes.
    Drain and cool.
    Add tomatoes to meat and all but 1/4 cup grated cheese.
    Mix together meats, cheese and tomatoes.
    Stuff each pepper full of mixture (press down).
    Add cheese to top.
    Place each finished pepper in glass pan.
    Add a little water (1/2-inch) to pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
