Oktoberfest Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 2 lb. kielbasa, cut in 4-inch strips
1 tsp. butter
1 medium onion, cut in wedges
2 (16 oz.) cans sauerkraut
1 c. apple juice
2 medium apples, cut in wedges
4 to 6 medium potatoes, cut in half
salt and pepper
Preparation

Brown sausage in butter in Dutch oven.
Arrange remaining ingredients (except apple juice, salt and pepper) around sausage.
Top with apple juice.
Salt and pepper to taste. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes.
Stir once.
Top with parsley.
