Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 heaping spoons cornstarch
3 egg yolks
vanilla
Preparation

Put milk on stove and add 1/4 cup sugar.
Let get hot but not boiling.
Put the rest of sugar in bowl with cornstarch and add some milk to make paste.
(I use a little milk out of container for this.)
Add egg yolks and beat.
When milk gets hot, add this mixture to milk and stir until thick.
Add coconut.
