Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can beets, drained and juice saved
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. beet juice
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch; add vinegar and beet juice. Bring to boil; simmer 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add beets; simmer a little longer.
