Cherry Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8-serving size) pkg. cherry gelatin
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. chopped celery
    lettuce leaves
    apple slices
Preparation
    In a large bowl, prepare gelatin with 2 cups of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water.
    Add lemon juice and then chill until partially set.
    Fold in apples, nuts and celery.
    Pour into lightly oiled 6-cup mold or 9-inch square pan.
    Chill 4 to 6 hours.
    Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with apple slices. Makes approximately 8 to 10 servings.
