Shrimp Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. bell pepper
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove chopped garlic
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 large can tomato sauce
    1 can water (use tomato can to measure)
    2 to 3 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp
    2 1/2 c. raw rice
Preparation
    In a 4-quart pot, saute onion, garlic, celery, parsley and bell pepper in cooking oil for 2 or 3 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce and water.
    Wash rice, then add to sauce.
    Add shrimp.
    Cover pot with tight fitting lid and cook on low fire until liquid is absorbed.
    Stir once or twice while cooking.
