Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 yeast cake
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add shortening, salt, sugar and egg.
    Add flour.
    Mix.
    Knead for 5 minutes.
    Let rise until double.
    Punch down and let rise again.
    Shape into cloverleaf or sandwich rolls.
    Let rise again.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
