Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 qt. berries, crushed and sweetened
1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks and juice (about 15 oz.)
3 bananas, diced
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pt. sour cream
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; when it reaches room temperature add crushed pineapple and sweetened berries, crushed, bananas, nuts and pineapple juice.
Pour half of mixture into clear rectangular dish.
Chill until firm.
Leave other half at room temperature.
When first half is chilled, spread sour cream on top.
Pour remainder of berry mixture over sour cream and chill.
