Carrie'S Spinach And Cheese Calzone - cooking recipe

1 pkg. frozen pizza dough
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp. margarine
your favorite marinara sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2/3 c. Ricotta cheese
1 beaten egg, divided in half
Preparation

Preheat oven to 475\u00b0.
Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well (very important).
Squeeze spinach to remove excess water.
In skillet, cook onion and garlic in margarine until tender, but not brown.
Add spinach; heat through. In mixing bowl, combine half of beaten egg, Ricotta, Parmesan and spinach mixture.
Divide pizza dough in half.
On cookie sheet lined with foil, flatten dough into 2 circles.
Don't get too thin!
Fill each with half of the spinach-cheese mixture.
Pull dough up and over mixture, forming a semi-circle, and pinch well to close.
Brush with remaining beaten egg.
Bake for 14 minutes. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
