Ingredients

3 qt. firm ripe thimbleberries
8 1/2 c. sugar
6 c. berries
1 pkg. pectin
Preparation

Wash and grind berries until crushed completely.
Pour sugar into a dry dish.
Measure 6 cups of berries into a large kettle. Add pectin and stir well.
Bring to a boil.
Add measured sugar and mix well.
Continue stirring and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil jam exactly 5 minutes.
Pour into prepared jars and seal.
