Dutch Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted cocoa
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 tsp. salt
    1 c. soft butter
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine cocoa with boiling water, mixing well. Let cool completely.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease and flour 3 (9-inch) pans.
    Sift flour with soda, salt and baking powder; set aside.
    In large bowl at high speed, beat butter with sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. At lower speed, add flour mixture in fourths, alternating with cocoa mixture in thirds, beginning and ending with flour.
    Do not overbeat.
    Pour in pans and bake 30 minutes.
    Cool in pans 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool.
