Puffing Crab Or Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10-12 slices bread, trim off crust ends
3 cups cooked crab/tuna/shrimp/chicken or turkey
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2-3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 eggs
2 cups milk
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup, mixed with 1/2 can water
1 cup grated cheese
paprika, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Line bottom of greased 9x13 pan with 1/2 the bread slices. In a dish combine the meat, onion, celery, peppers, mayonnaise and salt and pepper.
Pour over bread.
Place remaining bread on top. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over second layer of bread. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Before baking, pour soup over the top, sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake uncovered 1 hour 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
