Fettuccine Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. soft butter
    2 whole eggs
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    6 to 8 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. fettuccine
    8 slices bacon, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch strips
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    In a small bowl, beat eggs and mix with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese; set aside.
    Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, cook bacon in a skillet until it is crisp. Pour off half the bacon fat and stir into the pan the cream.
