Mary Ella Paige'S Apple Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg white
1 large raw apple, peeled and scraped into pulp
Preparation

Combine in a 1-quart bowl and beat on 3/4 speed until stiff. If no beater is available, a fork may be used, with the ingredients on a pie plate.
This takes about 20 minutes or until the fork will stand upright in the piled up frosting.
Will frost a 2 layer cake and should be eaten the same day it is made.
