"Candy Nuts" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. walnut halves
Preparation
    Combine both kinds of sugar and sour cream and cook over medium heat, stirring.
    Cook until a soft ball forms in a small amount of cold water (approximately 10 to 12 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and walnuts.
    Stir gently until all nuts are coated (let cool a little).
    Turn onto waxed paper.
    With fork, separate the nuts.
    Let dry.
