Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large firm green tomatoes
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes in 1/4-inch slices.
    Drain in colander.
    Mix flour, salt and pepper.
    Coat tomatoes with this mixture.
    Fry in cooking oil (heated) slowly until brown, turning once.
