Golden Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can oysters, undrained
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of potato soup
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    Cook onions and celery in margarine until tender.
    Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute over low heat.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk gradually.
    Stir until thickened.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Add oysters, potato soup, pimento and liquid hot pepper sauce.
    Heat 5 or 10 minutes until oysters begin to curl.
    Makes 6 servings.
