Coca-Cola Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour with 1 tsp. baking soda added
3 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
1/2 c. Coca-Cola, boiling
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in butter

Preparation

Mix thoroughly in order as listed, adding Coca-Cola very last. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Do not open oven door while baking!
Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
