Bread And Butter Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. scalded milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. granulated sugar
salt
Preparation

Butter a small casserole and line the bottom and sides with small squares of buttered bread.
Cut off the crusts.
Make a custard of the ingredients.
Mix and pour over the bread. Sprinkle ground cinnamon or nutmeg, whichever preferred, over top. Raisins may be added if you wish.
Place casserole in pan of boiling water and bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour (or until a sliver knife comes out clean).
