Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread, broken into pieces
    1/2 lb. mellow shredded cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    butter
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Line bottom of greased casserole with 1/2 bread and 1/2 cheese.
    Sprinkle with salt and repeat layer.
    Dot with butter. Beat eggs and milk together; pour over casserole.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Place casserole in a pan of water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 6 to 8.
