Ingredients

1 1/3 c. water
1 qt. milk
1 c. rice
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine water and milk in large pot.
When water and milk get warm, add rice.
When rice is cooked (15 to 20 minutes), stir in rest of ingredients that have been well mixed together.
Stir a few times and remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Pour into container.
When pudding is cool, cover and refrigerate.
