Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beets
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. beet juice
    cinnamon, cloves or allspice
Preparation
    Cook beets until tender.
    Take off skins.
    Heat sugar, vinegar, beet juice and a little cinnamon, cloves or allspice to a boil.
    Add beets.
    Let come to a boil and put in sterilized jars. Seal or may keep in refrigerator.
