Strawberry-Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    2 cans crushed pineapple (1 lb. 10 oz. each), drained (save juice)
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    In large dish, combine Jell-O and boiling water; stir until dissolved.
    Add pineapple juice.
    Fold into Jell-O mix the pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Put half of mixture in an 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Refrigerate until firm, 1 1/2 hours or so. Evenly spread sour cream over top.
    Gently spoon on rest of strawberry mixture.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Serve on lettuce.
