Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    green tomatoes
    flour
    salt, pepper, sugar
    oil and margarine
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes (about 1/4 inch thick) and coat both sides by dredging in flour.
    Heat oil in frying pan (about 1/8 inch) and melt about 1/4 cup margarine in pan.
    When oil sizzles when water droplet added, it is hot enough.
    Put floured tomatoes in pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
    When brown on one side, turn, salt and pepper again and brown.
    When second side is brown, remove and pat with paper towel to blot up oil.
