Oktoberfest Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork ribs
    2 (32 oz.) jars sauerkraut
    2 yellow onions
    2 tart green apples
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    Drain the sauerkraut and mix in the caraway seed.
    Peel the onions and cut in half; core and cut the apples in wedges.
    Next, layer the ingredients in a large Dutch oven in this order: sauerkraut mixture, onions, apples, brown sugar and the ribs. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer gently for 2 or 3 hours until ribs are tender.
    Serves 6.
