Spaghetti Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef/chuck/venison
3 small cloves garlic or use bottled garlic
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 qt. tomatoes (28 oz. and 14.5 oz. can)
    1 tsp. red pepper
    2 to 3 bay leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1 can water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    olive oil
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Cover bottom of stockpot with oil, then add the meat and garlic, chopped finely. (You may add more than recipe calls for, according to taste.) Cook over slow heat until meat is heated through. Add pepper, oregano, basil and bay leaves, stirring. Next add tomatoes, tomato paste, water and salt. Cook at medium heat for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then simmer for 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Place on serving plate; spoon sauce over it. Then sprinkle Parmesan cheese. You may double or triple recipe and freeze several containers, since it takes so long to make.
