Asparagus Canapes - cooking recipe

20 slices thin white bread
8 oz. cream cheese
20 spears canned asparagus
3 oz. Bleu cheese
1 egg
1/4 lb. butter, melted
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Trim crusts from bread and flatten with a rolling pin. Blend cheeses with egg. Spread evenly on bread and put 1 asparagus spear on each slice. Roll up bread. Roll in butter to coat well. Place on cookie sheet, making sure seams stay closed. Freeze. Cut into thirds. Sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden.
