Ingredients

1/3 c. sliced green onions
1/3 c. chopped red pepper
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. Gulden spicy brown mustard
salt to taste
Preparation

Saute the onions and peppers in butter in a medium size saucepan.
Stir in flour.
Cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually stir in evaporated milk and water. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
Stir in mustard and salt.
Serve over the ham.
