Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. top round steak, cut in strips or 1/4-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. bacon or other fat
    flour
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
    1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms or preferably fresh ones
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 drops Tabasco
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. spaghetti or egg noodles (2 pkg. if serving 8 with 1 1/2 lb. meat)
    Parmesan cheese
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown flour-coated meat in fat; add onion, garlic and drained mushrooms.
    Combine seasonings in mushroom liquid (or water if using fresh ones).
    Add soup.
    Simmer at least 1 hour.
    Add sour cream and heat just before serving.
    Serves 6 to 8.
