Beef Stew With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cut in cubes
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 medium onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of allspice
    cut carrots
    potatoes
    1 can corn
    peas (some)
    1/3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Brown meat in shortening in Dutch oven.
    Add 2 to 4 cups water and remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Take water and flour and make thickening; blend in stew.
