Cherry Tree Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (9-inch) baked pie shells
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large can sour cherries
    2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. red food coloring
    4 bananas, chopped
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and food coloring.
    Cook until clear and thick.
    Stir, remove from heat. Let cool at room temperature.
    Add bananas and nuts.
    Pour into baked pie shells.
    Top with whipped cream.
    Makes 3 (9-inch) pies.
