Southern Peach Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced fresh peaches
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Crush the fresh peaches and measure.
    Combine with the sugar. In a saucepan combine the milk and cornstarch and bring to boil. Cook for 2 minutes and pour slowly over peaches, beating hard to blend.
    Add egg yolks and cinnamon.
    Beat again and pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until filling is firm.
    A meringue may be added if desired.
