Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    Cut in shortening; add milk.
    Makes a soft dough.
    Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead 3 to 4 times.
    Roll 3/4-inch thick and cut.
    Place 1 inch apart on ungreased sheet.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Makes 12 to 14.
