Mom'S Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. salad oil
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. diced apples
    1 c. dark, seedless raisins
    1 - c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    With mixer beat sugar and eggs for 5 minutes.
    Slowly beat in salad oil.
    Beat in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and extract.
    With spoon stir in apples, raisins and nuts.
    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done.
    Remove cake from pan.
