Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. cloves
    3 c. raw carrots, peeled and grated
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour (plain)
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and salt together.
    Add a little at a time to cream mixture, blending in.
    Then blend in carrots and nuts.
    Makes 4 or 5 layers. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
