Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar, caramelized
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg whites
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Caramelize 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Moisten the cornstarch with a little cold water.
Mix into 1 1/2 cups of water and the beaten egg yolks and salt.
Pour into pie shell and bake.
Cool.
