Rich Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
    1 large onion, chopped or instant onion
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, strained (do not use pulp)
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    3 cans water (use cans to measure)
    3 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    bay leaves
    dash of red pepper
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Fry bacon; drain on paper towels.
    Set aside.
    Add onion to drippings; saute, adding hamburger and cooking until no longer pink.
    Drain off drippings and add remaining ingredients, cooking until desired consistency, adding garlic cloves halfway through cooking.
    Add bacon (crushed) back into sauce when done.
