Lorene'S Pinto Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry pinto beans
    2 medium onions, chopped and cooked
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can tomato soup
    2 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    4 Tbsp. Texas Pete (hot)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook pinto beans slow, keeping whole.
    Do not stir too much. Set aside.
    Cook hamburger.
    Set aside.
    Cook onions.
    Combine tomato sauce, soup mix, chili powder, Texas Pete, salt, sugar, pepper and hamburger.
    Cook on low heat.
    Pour off bean water all but 1 cup and save to use if the mixture is too dry.
    Pour all of the other ingredients into the bean pot and stir easy.
    Cook on low for 1/2 hour.
    This makes enough for at least 8 people.
    My husband says it's the best he ever ate.
