Pineapple Jello Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 or 12 oz.) container Cool Whip
    nuts
    cherries (maraschino), chopped
Preparation
    Bring Jell-O and pineapple to boil in pot on stove.
    Remove from heat and add 1 cup cold water.
    Mix thoroughly and put into refrigerator and let Jell-O come to a soft jell.
    Then remove from fridge and beat in one container of Cool Whip and pour into dish and top with cherries and nuts and refrigerate.
