Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cucumbers (medium size)
    3 to 4 onions
    3 to 4 green peppers
Preparation
    Slice thinly the cucumbers, onions and peppers.
    Soak for 3 hours in 3 tablespoons salt and enough ice water to cover.
    Drain well.
    Mix together 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar and pour over drained cukes.
    Let stand in refrigerator for 2 days.
    Put in containers and freeze.
    Makes 3 pints.
    Thaw and add sour cream or serve plain.
