Cheese Smackles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. Rice Krispies, crushed
    2 c. plain flour
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine; mix with grated cheese.
    Sift pepper and salt with flour.
    Gradually add flour mixture to margarine.
    Add Rice Krispies crushed slightly.
    Make small balls.
    Place on a baking sheet.
    Press flat with a fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 60.
    Cool on a wire rack.
