Peanut Butter Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. peanut butter
3 eggs (save whites from 2)
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and sugar together; add 3 egg yolks and 1 egg white to sugar mixture and stir until smooth.
Meanwhile, place 2 cups milk in double boiler and when milk is hot, add the sugar, flour, salt and egg mixture.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
When done, remove from stove; add vanilla and 2 tablespoons peanut butter.
When peanut butter has melted and filling is cool, put in cooked pie crust (plain or graham cracker) and top with meringue, using the whites of eggs saved from the filling or put whipped cream on top.
