Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sweet potatoes. mashed
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add sugar and shortening to potatoes while hot.
Combine potato and flour mixture.
Roll or pat to 3/4 inch thickness.
Cut out and bake at 425 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
