Rainbow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. butter or Crisco
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    pink, green and yellow food coloring
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream together butter or Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add dry ingredients to mixture, alternating with milk and flavorings until all are well mixed together.
    Divide the batter into 3 equal portions.
    Tint each portion of batter with yellow, green and pink coloring.
    Pour pink batter into 10 x 4-inch tube (greased) pan, then pour green batter over pink, then yellow over green batter.
    Bake 70 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
