Applepancakes, Apfelpfannkuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. flour, unbleached, unsifted
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. apples, sliced
    3/4 c. butter
    2 tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together flour, 2 tsp. sugar and salt. Beat eggs and milk together. Gradually add flour mixture, beat until smooth. Saute apples in 1/4 c. butter until tender. Mix 2 tbsp. sugar and cinnamon together; toss with apples. Melt 2 tbsp. butter in 6 inch deep fry pan. Pour in the batter to depth of 1/4 inch. When set, place 1/4 of apples on top; cover with more batter. Fry pancake until lightly browned on both sides.
