Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, chopped
    6 to 7 medium potatoes
    garlic salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 1/2 to 2 cans milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter; peel and slice potatoes and barely cover with hot water.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cook until mushy.
    Stir in soup.
    Cut cheese in thin slices and stir until melted.
    Stir in milk, more or less depending on consistency desired.
