German Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. \"Adam's Best\" vanilla
    2 tsp. Adam's butter flavoring
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, vanilla, butter flavoring and buttermilk.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Heat German chocolate to a very softened stage in microwave oven or double boiler.
    Promptly blend chocolate into mixture well.
    Bake in 9-inch stem pan or 10-inch Bundt pan, that has been well-greased and dusted with flour, about 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0 or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Remove cake from pan while still hot and place under a tight fitting cake cover, leaving covered until cold.
