Chili Rellenos Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. hot sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 cans chopped green chilies, drained
    1 chopped jalapeno (optional)
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. flour (unsifted)
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    Tabasco to taste
Preparation
    In a large skillet, mix beef and sausage.
    Cook over medium heat until browned.
    Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is limp.
    Drain off fat.
    Line a 9 x 9 x 12-inch baking dish with 1/2 ounce of chilies.
    Top with 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
    Add the meat and top with rest of chilies; set aside.
