24-Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small head lettuce
1/2 c. diced celery
2 hard-boiled eggs, diced
1/2 box frozen peas (uncooked)
1/4 c. green peppers, diced
1 onion, diced
1 c. mayo
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
bacon bits
Preparation
-
Tear lettuce; place in deep bowl.
Layer other ingredients in order given except for sugar and mayo.
Add sugar to mayo.
Spread over top as you would frosting.
Top with cheese.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
